TengTools celebrates 25th birthday at Speedshow
TengTools, the tools used by some of the world’s best motorsport teams, celebrates their 25th birthday in 2010 and has a fantastic line-up of new and re-vitalised tools and tool storage systems ready to go on display at Speedshow in July.
This highly-regarded quality range of tools designed in Sweden is distributed in New Zealand by Auckland-based ISL Industrial Ltd. General operations and marketing manager Stephen Cole says the TengTools team is excited to be exhibiting at Speedshow for the first time in 2010.
“Our clients range from major industry leaders and respected vehicle manufacturers, to the top names in racing and even your next-door neighbour with the great garage,” says Cole. “And that description could apply equally as well to the audience that Speedshow attracts.”
Cole’s team is already hard at work, planning the TengTools display at Speedshow, taking place at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland over the weekend of 24 and 25 July.
What a perfect time of year to get along to the showgrounds and spend a wintery day checking out all the great cars and bikes at Speedshow! And it’s a great time to check out the latest products from TengTools.
With this being the company’s 25th year of operation, we have a lot of new products arriving to add to our already extensive product line-up, which already numbers more than 2,500. New products include a range of ‘SV’ Tool boxes, tool kits, socket sets & power tools all with revitalised packaging.
In New Zealand, TengTools supports a number of local motorsport personalities with Mad Mike Whiddett and his Red Bull drift car one of the best-known. Mad Mike’s RX7 is a star feature on the TengTools’ stand, and show visitors can go in the draw to win a radio-controlled replica of Mad Mike’s Mad Bul Racing RX7 – a prize worth over a $1,000.
“The giveaways don’t stop there,” says Cole. “We’re putting up a 715-piece TengTools Mega Master Tool Kit worth $4999 for another prize draw, and there will be plenty of bonus offers and special Speedshow prices on lots of our products.
“Our ‘everlasting power’ guaranteed tools and unique ‘tool control system’ do more than just get the job done, they help to improve workflow by creating a more organised and efficient workshop with smoother performance. Only TengTools offers Swedish design and the dependability of Taiwanese production at costs competitive enough to please price conscious professional users all over the world. TengTools is a truly global brand sold in over 35 countries worldwide.
“Come along to Speedshow and make sure you visit the TengTools stand.”
Along with TengTools, the line-up of exhibitors at this year’s Speedshow is turning into a who’s who of the Australasian automotive and motorsport sectors, says Speedshow organiser Keith Sharp. Already Speedshow has confirmed Ford, Mazda, Nissan, BMW, Chrysler Jeep, Kia, HSV and Suzuki in the new car sector. Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph, Honda, Aprillia, Royal Enfield and now Ducati are confirmed from among the country’s motorcycle distributors.
“Numerous well-known car-related brands like Castrol EDGE and Meguiar’s are also confirmed exhibitors for Speedshow,” says Sharp. “In terms of the quality and range of products and vehicles on display, this year’s show promises to be tremendously strong.”
With its trademark line-up of beautifully-crafted hot rods, awesome performance cars and classic cars and bikes, Speedshow looks set to offer a fantastic weekend’s entertainment again in 2010.
