The New Zealand Festival of Motor Racing will be held on the weekends of the 20-22nd of Jan 2012 and 27-29 Jan 2012
As part of the Event, Bimmersport and the BMW Car Club of New Zealand are holding a Show and Shine Sponsored by Meguiars.

The first weekend and the Saturday of the second weekend are heats with the finals on the last Sunday The first weekend will be for Auckland, Northland, Waikato and BoP people.The second Saturdays heat is for people from further afield so that they don't need to come back a week later for the finals.Some local cars will be entered in the last weekend if we don't get enough entries from the foreigners. There will be a certificate for the runner-up of each heat and the heat winner will also get a certificate, a selection of Meguiars products, and an invitation to attend the final. (this includes a pass to get into the event for their car and themselves.In the finals the runner up receives a certificate, and the winner will get a selection of Meguiars products, a package from some sponsors which include a 5ltr keg of Warsteiner beer, $100.00 petrol voucher and Elf motor oil etc. plus a certificate.The classes are;BMWs pre 1980BMWs 1981-1990BMWs 1991-2000BMWs 2001 0nwardsPlus in the final only will be an award for Best car in show and a Peoples choice. All entrants are expected to be there at the racetrack by 8.30am on the day they are entered.All those who have entered will receive their passes by mid January There will be discounted tickets for club members but I have not made the final arrangements with NZFMR as to how they will get them.
