You've just installed the gearbox and are replacing the clutch soon?

Wouldn't it have been better to just wait and install the gearbox with the clutch you intend to use?

YIP YOUR RIGHT HAHAHAHA i was just abit ahead of my self wanted to check it fitted hahaha but anyway took it out and put the auto back in,I just "F"ed around this week end due to waiting on pay day to get some more parts lol

MAX- I will PM you shortly about this man thanks so much i have been told its just a standard e30 Getrag 260, and my cars a 4 door (photos up soon) so yeah not to sure on dif but its stock and pretty sure its open to

Yeah this week end was a waste of time hahahaha but thats all good i had fun, are lightened flywheels worth it for a m20b25(any one know where to get a fly wheel lighterned) or just a stock?and completely forgot i would need one to lol so if any one has a manual flywheel thats cheap please let me know

Lightened flywheels definatly worth it,

get it machined down to 6kg, thats about as light as you can go before it turns into a grenade. any clutch specialist should be able to do this, or a brake specialist, get them to balance it with your new clutch while your at it.

Bob at balancing specialists I went 6.8kg and it seems ok. Maybe a slight noise at low rpms. I did a sweet single spinner in the drive last night so it must be alright.

Hes out west somewhere.

F*&^ING HELL $200 for a fly wheel lol oh well i might just buy The.Tams 320i. lol MAKE IT AUTO YAY lol well something like that, but yeah if i buy the fly wheel get it lightened and the rest it will be just about the same with gear box so yeah ill post up here if i get the 320i and is it easy to make the 320i a auto with the 325i transmission ? if not ill have heaps of parts(waste of a car thought)
